Kuruc-era Roving in the Historical Bereg
The project Development of Stretch-over-Borders Cooperation in the Hungarian-Ukrainian Border-area came in for support, which is partly financed by the EGT and the Norwegian Financing Mechanism, and the Republic of Hungary.
Purposes of the project:
· Support of historical events, maintain and qualitative services; tradition-keepings like enhancement of making of income; improvement of standard of living for those people who live on border-lands, which are not so developed from social-economic point of view.
· Dividing of practical experiences, which are acquired during the development. Forming of such relationship, which leads us to an execution of a new project; quickens the bilateral border-land processes of economy and market, enhances the civilian and contractor cooperation.
· Preservation of cultural values, folk-traditions, and custom.
· Strengthen of cohesion of area.
· Support of turning out of the local products and help to make them for market. (Products made from nut, plum, cornel and embroidered covers, etc.)
Effects of the project:
· it helps the collective cooperation, revises the present status of the area. A possibility opens to sell the products of the local people during the programmes. In addition, during the maintenance of guests, agricultural products (which are produced by the locals) are eaten.
· economic and social regional inequality may lessen with the help of the borderlands .
· the stretch-over-borders cooperation, communication, current of information progresses between the institutions.
· the services operate in the project with the local business and civilian sphere, so they come in for indirect support.
Activities of the project:
Project-management: Transaction of the project, control of project-activity, making a financial account, organization of programmes.of implements (period dresses, accessories, carts and period Kuruc guns): needed period accessories, dressing, guns, etc. for programmes and historical events.of publicity: make of press conference, TV and radio interviews, placards, throwaways, and invitations to extensively circulate the programmes.to collate the dividing of the tasks between the Hungarian and Transcarpathian representatives.on the 21 and 22 of May, repeating the history of 1703, there was a symbolic flag-unfolding, which was joined with a recruiting ceremony in Tarpa, Vári and Beregszász. This programme takes us back with a performance of a period scene into the early XVIIIth century. Men and women were dressed in period Kuruc dresses and there were period imitation of guns and a sort of cart.of tradition-keeping
· Historical Festival of Bereg Folk-music: possibilities to introduce Hungarian and Transcarpathian musicians, singers and bands.
· Tamás Esze Tradition-keeping Creative Camp: the children of both villages can participate in this 10-day long camp where they get acquainted with the Kuruc-life and with the folk trades. With the help of the teachers and instructors they can make different accessories, presents and other useful things.
· Historical Kuruc Days: procession and street genre painting in the Kuruc-Labanc era, which is joined with a craftsman-sale and make of folk foods.
· Games Without Borders ¯ Sports-day: a folk derring-do with 6 teams (shred-ball football, barrel-wheeling, a spread-out competition, etc.)
· Religious Days: a three-day long journey in Transcarpathia to get acquainted with the culture of each other.
Make an issue: the project wants to introduce all the events, which are worthy of note in issues and which includes the touristy introduction of the villages.of homepage: the development of the homepage of Tarpa to inform about the results of the project.partners set up a closing conference in which they summarize the results and experiences and they introduce the completed materials.
